Q: What are your hours?
A: Maurice & Son is open 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.

Q: Do I need an appointment to get an estimate?
A: Yes, we want to make sure we have enough time to address your damages.

Q: What do I need to bring to get an estimate?
A: The vehicle, registration, and insurance information.

Q: How long will it take to repair my vehicle?
A: Because each situation is different there is no standard time period necessary to make repairs. The length of time depends on the extent of the damage, availability of parts and if additional damage is found after the teardown.

Q: What if my car is a total loss?
A: If the damage to your car is greater than your car’s worth then it is considered to be a “total loss”, and typically should not be repaired.

Q: What if my insurance company wants me to go to another shop?
A: You have the right to go a shop of your choice. Your insurance company cannot require you to go to a particular shop.

Q: Do you warranty your work?
A: Absolutely! When you choose Maurice & Son, you are guaranteed the highest quality repair, our technicians take great pride in their work. Any defects in workmanship or material failure will be corrected free of charge unless caused by unreasonable use, maintenance or care of the vehicle. The shop will repair and repaint, excluding rust repairs or damaged resulting from reasonable use, maintenance, or care of the vehicle.

Q: What does a direct repair shop mean?
A: Maurice & Son has a contractual relationship with several major insurance companies. This means that we act as their on-site appraisers. There is no waiting for an adjuster to look at your damage. Upon arrival at Maurice & Son facility, we will receive your claim information via a computer download from your insurance company. We take digital photos and upload the estimate back to the insurance company. If the vehicle is not drivable we can immediately begin the repairs or if drivable get your repairs scheduled. NO DELAYS

Q: Will my insurance company guarantee your work?
A: If it’s a company that we are a direct repair for your repairs are guaranteed, regardless of where the car is. If you move to another state, your guarantee moves with you.

Q: What if I don’t have insurance or don’t want to go through insurance?
A: No problem. Our estimators will give you many options on repairing the damage. From OEM parts, to aftermarket parts, to cost-cutting salvage parts.

Q: Do you work with all insurance companies?
A: Over the past 49 years we have dealt with most insurance companies that write auto insurance. Our reputation is industry- known, whether they are direct repair or not.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: For the deductible portion (due at the time you pick your vehicle up) we accept cash ,bank checks, personal checks, Visa, MasterCard for your deductible. We do not take credit/debit cards for the  insurance portion of the  repair.

Q: Do you work on rust?

A: No, we do not repair or replace rusted vehicle parts.
